Impacted wisdom tooth removal

Impacted wisdom tooth removal

An impacted wisdom tooth that is causing pain, infection or damage to neighbouring teeth is removed with precision, guided by 3D imaging that maps its exact position before surgery.

OVERVIEW

Resolving pain from teeth that can't emerge properly

Wisdom teeth that are impacted angled, buried, or blocked by other teeth can cause recurring pain, infection, or pressure damage to the teeth beside them.
A 3D scan shows exactly how the tooth sits in relation to nerves and neighbouring roots, so the procedure is planned precisely and any risk is minimised before the day of surgery.

IS IT RIGHT FOR YOU?

You may be a candidate if…

A wisdom tooth is repeatedly painful, swollen or infected.

“A wisdom tooth doesn’t need to be difficult if it’s understood properly first. A good scan tells me almost everything before I even begin.”

— Mr Nabeel Bhatti

COMMON QUESTIONS

Impacted Wisdom Tooth Removal, answered

Do all impacted wisdom teeth need removing?

No. Removal is recommended when a tooth causes pain, infection, or damage to nearby teeth. If symptom-free, monitoring may suffice — Mr Bhatti will advise honestly either way.

Under local anaesthetic you remain awake but numb; sedation or general anaesthetic are also available if preferred.

Swelling typically peaks around day two to three, then steadily settles over the following week.
